How can I scream enough to tell everyone that all war is abject stupidity?

We all live together on a small beauiful blue planet, we've seen it from space ... and half of humanity is starving ... I think we should spread prosperity so everyone is fed and taken care of, that might help. What do you think?

    I think so too.

Screaming won't help though. Screams don't stop bullets

Take it a step further... How can you create and spread prosperity? Food would just be a first step, there's a whole pyramid of needs out there that need to be addressed.

We are human, but we are also animals. And just like every other animal, we fight...and struggle...and even kill. It's in our nature. Until that part of our brain which controls our animal-like instincts evolves (if it ever does) to where we don't fight, conflict will continue. It all comes down to the fact that Nature is not kind. We are products of Nature just like every other living thing around us.

Sorry, it's obviously not the answer you are looking for, but I think you're badly mistaken if you think there will ever be world peace. It's just not going to happen, at least not in your lifetime. The best thing you can do is try to live your life the best way you can and not worry about the rest of the world population. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

Yeah then those people who have a little bit of food start reproducing and making even more hungry people.

Yes war is stupid but it is a necessary evil. Do you think that we can just sit around the camp fire and sing Kumbaya with Saddam Hussein or Kim Jong Il and all be happy and peaceful?

    Gel real hippie.

To answer your question, its pointless to scream. I don't like a screamer. Do you?

I do like rational talk with factual backing. An exchange of ideas coupled with understanding is really nice, even if we walk away in disagreement.

You cannot have peace without war. Some wars are pointless. All war is not abject stupidity.

Spreading prosperity is a nice thought. The means of doing so is out of reach. The field will never be level.

    "Welcome. Welcome to life."

Too late, "The world powers outlawed war under the 1928 Kellogg-Brand Pact. It didn't work". page 431 Uncle John's Bathroom Reader Plunges into History.

The purpose of war is to fight over political and economic power. There is no way to stop people from wanting political and economic power over others.

That is what most wars take care of genius; removing tyranny and spreading prosperity where it is being hoarded, and feeding where people are not being fed, it does help.

I'm sorry--was that you I heard almost 12 hours ago? Just kidding--I understand you--but everyone has their own opinions and lets look at realistically here--it is just not going to happen.

It won't nelp no matter how loud or how often you yell. Nobody will listen. I agree with you 100%. If it was possible I would go with the cause and volunteer.
