Every so often I see a green flame in my wood burning stove.?

Does this mean anything specific or is it just an optical illusion? (Mix of blue and yellow flame)?

Thanks

wood contains water & charcoal (which is an alotrope of carbon).when carbon is burned it forms CO2 but if this action takes place in presence of moisture CO2 reacts with moisture(water) to give carbonic acid .thus green flames are seen due to evolution of vapours of carbonic acid..

I love feeding wood to the red hot, burning stove. It really flames the fire! I love it when the flames shoot out from the box! Man...I need a cool drink all of a sudden!

Blue and yallow make green right? So there is a blue flame that is real powerful and the yellow flame, as you should have seen. Mix and green comes

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/zxv1W

Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.

you might have wood that has a nail in it, green usually means copper is burning or it could be a release of gases from the wood,

    Green would indicate copper.

Blue and yellow only make green for finger paints. For light, they make white.

Impurities in the fuel, prolly Metalic, like what was mentioned prior, copper would be a good guess but, it could be many things, not to worry !
