Pittsburg Stealers?

Considering this is the last game of the season and Pittsburg has a losing record so far, 7-8:

1. Do you think the refs helped Pittsburg win Superbowl XL last year?

2. Who do you think will win Superbowl XLI this year?

    1. Yes, that was NOT a touchdown when Big Ben sneaked that ball in.

    2. Chargers

Pittsburg has lost almost all there games by less then 7 points. They also lost their big play man, Randel El, and first ballot hall-of-famer Bettis. There starting Qb had 2 near death instances within 2 months of eachother and was never completely healthy till the end of the season. They also spent a lot of time without all-world SS Polamalo, who is one of the elite game changers in football today. So obviously, it wasn't the refs who won the superbowl for the steelers last year. Actually, they did everything they could to keep them out of it..AKA.. the non-interception call against the Colts in the AFC championship game which was worse then the Raiders/Patriots foreward pass call back in the mid 90's. I expect them to be a powerhouse again next year, and one of the favorites to go the distance.

As far as who will win this year, I would bet on whoever comes out of the AFC. I expect it will probably be the chargers, the are the most complete team. Baltimore is still playing great, and if Tenessee somehow scrounges into the playoffs, I wouldn't count them out. Not because they have a lot of talent, but Im starting to buy into the fact that superman Vince Young is the best "winner" since Brady came into the league. He just finds a way to win games.

    1. They got hot at the right time last year, plain and simple. I watched their game against the Bears to end the season. They were sharp on both sides of the ball and were moving the ball at will against the best defense in the NFL. I called them for Super Bowl champs after that game.

    2. I think there are a few teams that have a shot, with the AFC having the advantage in most of the matchups. I think if the Chargers represent the AFC, they'll win the Super Bowl. If the Cowboys represent the NFC, they'll lose. If the Saints play the Ravens, that's a tossup. If they play the Colts, they should blow them out. If the Bears play the Ravens, it'll be close. If they play the Colts, they will probably lose in a high-scoring affair.

You need a quick contrast: I believe it will be close...but the Steelers will come victorious. (On a personal note, I don't really care. I am not a fan on either team.) Look at the Steelers defense: one of the best of the NFL. It has been consistent and strong. Polamalu and Harrison will definitely give Aaron Rodgers some BIG trouble. The Packers have had some leaks that need to be tweaked if they can hold the WR. Though the Packers' offense is much better than the Steelers, Ben Rothlesburger has winning Super Bowl experience. Aaron Rodgers does not. Also, the Steeler's defense outweighs the Packers' offense. Not only that, but I can guarantee you that there will be more Steelers fans at the stadium than Packers fans. That will get their blood pumping a bit more!

No, the Steelers won the Superbowl legitimately last year, now what happened to them this year i don't know as far as a winner this year I'd like to see the Chargers/Saints in the Superbowl with a Saints win

1.) no way...last season was entirely different for Pitt. Last year they had a stellar QB, great defence and an all around good team. They won that superbowl based on defense (stopping Alexander) and with a key factor: Hines Ward! (p.s im not a pitt fan, i just thought they played well)

2.) An AFC team, no telling which one will get there but between New England and Indy, one of them will win.

To answer your first question, Ben Rothlisberger admitted on the David Letterman Show that the ball was not across the line, but the Steelers won anyway. So, yes, the Refs helped them to win. No guesses on the Superbowl this year.

    1. No what helped Pittsburgh win the Superbowl was Seattle played like crap and someone had to win.

    2. You are seriously mistaken if you think someone is going to beat the Baltimore Ravens in the playoffs this year!

If we 'cheated' last year how did we win 3 consecutive game on the road and NO TEAM has ever done that before? c'mon now we won fair and square just like we did today against the bungles.
