American in a different time zone, Can I still say Happy New Year?

It is 1140pm and will be asleep in less than 10 minutes ergo missing bringing in the new year.. Happy New Year to all of you that enjoy this site and are here right now along with me. So sleepy, but will read about all ya all next year k, Auguri tutti!!!!

Update:

Ya all know I can't vote for 4 hours, but your responses make me feel, I don't know that being here in Europe, (working and living) that we are some way connected, Americans always pull through... 1157 pm and I can not keep my eyelids any longer, Happy new year.

Update 2:

There are 7 of you now that have answered. I am grateful. My boss might not be so happy that I stayed up and am probably going to be late in the morning, but it was something about the ding ding that I received a new answer to my question that led me to you guys and will personally thank you tomorrow. I mean the ones with the yahoo email thingamagig that allows me to contact you. Happy New Year to Skinny M, Brit Lady, Susan L, Pookie, emali for America, and guy joed.......sorry my eyes are definately doing the shut thing. Oh and by the way I was supposed to miss the ny, but now it is 0130 in the morn. No matter loved hanging out with ya'll.

    You can celebrate new Year's whenever you wish to.

    A friend is a friend and a greeting is a greeting, but when it comes from your heart, time means nothing.

    Celebrate as you see fit for you.
