I am currently in a paralegal program where I am currently taking immigration law. I am very interested in getting into the field because it seems very interesting, the paralegals do most of the work ( I like to be kept busy) and you can work anywhere in the country because it is based on Federal law.

I am wondering how you got into the field and any other knowledge you can share to assist me do the same.

I think most of us can agree that the term 'good Catholic girl' has changed over time. What is your definition of a 'good Catholic girl' in this era?

I am in the process of considering applying to law school and there seems to be 2 schools of thought regarding whether to go to law school. The 1st is that with cost associated with attendance is not worth it unless you get into a top tier school and are in the top 1% of your class. The 2nd is even though I went to an okay school, have an okay job and have loads of student debt, it was well worth it. I want to know your experience. What tier school did you go to? Are you happy in the job you currently hold? Was it worth it?

I am considering moving to Seattle, but have a couple of questions that none of the many "moving to Seattle" type questions have asked. Pls answer with the question number next to it:

1. If I move to the Seattle area, I would like to move to the suburbs & take the train into the city each day. Is this possible? (I understand traffic is pretty bad) Does the train system have a monthly pass? How reliable is the train?

2. If #1 is possible, what suburbs would you suggest? I would like a neighborhood with a 24-hour pharmacy, a supermarket that is open late, a Super Target and a Costco that is within 30 mins drive. I do not mind riding the train for up to 30 minutes each way.

3. What are the average condo prices & rental prices for the suburbs you suggested in #2?

4. Where I live now interracial dating is frowned on, what is it like in Seattle?

5. How hard/easy is it to find a job in the legal sector in Seattle?
