East coast places to snowboard for a beginner?

I am looking for suggestions on places for a beginner snowboarder to snowboard on the east coast that is not expensive, offers adult lessons and is close to an airport serviced by major carriers.

Update:

I am not sure why Penn is the only state people are offering. I am interested in anywhere on the east coast of the US.

I would go to McIntyre ski area in Manchester New Hampshire they have a great beginner area and awsome beginner lessons but this place is very very small so if you have never snowboarded i would say go to McInyre if you have then go to Pats Peak ski area in Henniker New Hampshire its a little bigger but now a big or difficult area by any means as for the airport McIntyre is literally mins. from the airport and pats peak is probably 45-50 mins. away from the airport here are the website for both these areas...

If the Poconos in PA are close to Philly (I have no idea), you could try Camelback, Shawnee, or Bear Mountain. I know Camelback has a good beginner slope with a lot of teen/young adult snowboarder lumps on it. lol. Camelback also has the Burton Learn to Ride program, and in that case they probably have adult lessons.

once you how you may surf you will desire to do it the main suitable suited way from the commencing up. don't get into undesirable behavior. do no longer do what soli deo gloria mentioned approximately stepping into your knees. you go with to pop as we talk up no longer utilising your knees. I too stay in South Jersey (and prefer another experienced surfer, we wont ever provide up our spots) yet i can inform you that New Jersey is a good place to benefit because of the fact which you in basic terms get shoulder severe waves each each now and then. maximum cases you would be surfing waist severe waves this is exciting for anybody. Now that i'm finished correcting the people i'd choose to tell you to GET training. don't be a kook. you may get training from a consultant from a surf shop, or you may get them from a surfing and experienced kin member. Please do no longer in basic terms lease a board and paddle out because of the fact it somewhat is an entire distinctive international accessible and that i comprehend from residing right here and being a interior of reach that adult males will cut back your head off for stupid issues. there is loads of surf etiquette to be discovered and don't bypass out with out discovering it. one extra element i'd choose to function is that surfing is in comparison to another interest or interest. it somewhat is unque. the sensation and how you experience is stunning. I too snowboard and that i used to skateboard and that they are no longer something alike. good success and doubtless i will see you accessible-when you're taking training.

7 Springs in Pennsylvania is a really fun resort!! However I have no idea how close it is..... snow is kinda crap on east coast right now. I'd check out Vermont.
