Go to Wal Mart and but IRON tablets, they are with the vitamins. A Bottle of 50 only cost's about $3.50. Take on and hold it on your canker sore, hold it there till you can't stand the taste anymore. I hold it there for about 3 minutes. My doctor said I get them because a lack of iron. I get 2-3 every 4-6 months. BOY DO THEY HURT! Make sure you brush you teeth 2-3 times a day. Keep the germs down drink LOTS of water. I would advise if you get them quite often to let your dr. know.
Good luck!
PS. Advil helps with the pain.

Canker sores are usually caused by stress or when the bodys immune system is low, hot and spicy foods or acidic foods..lemon ect. The best thing to do is rinse with salt and water. A few table spoons of reg salt and warm water two times a day until gone. Canker sore usually only last a few days.

I know a few people who have said ABRIEVA works wonders. It is now an "over the counter" medicine. It comes in a 2" little tube and it costs about $10-$12.
