Anyone know anything about raising guinea fowl?

I have a hen who just laid her first egg. It's my understanding that they can lay up to 25 eggs, 1 egg per day. If this is true, will the eggs be okay til she decides to set. She laid the egg and ignored it all day.

Guineas generally don't sit until they have a clutch. They can't properly care for their brood if they're not hatched all at the same time because they would have to leave the nest with the first ones to feed and leave the remainder of the eggs unprotected.
