Ahh it's good to see money going to good use. Who needs to cure horrible disease and mental ill-ness anyway? Maybe they study obvious stuff to make it seem like they are doing something?

Well no duh on that. I am severe depression, my stepdad used to beat me all the time. It was a bad situation that I just escaped from a few years ago. I wish I can get over it but the memories still haunt my every waking thought. I can't stand it sometimes and I get so angry. I wish I could be mentally normal.

It is called "publish or perish". If college instructors don't publish some sort of stuff, they are fired. Quality doesn't count, only quantity.
