Do we learn more from parents or teachers?
I am assuming most of you will say parents. Well....why is it that teachers have to have an education and get licensed to teach, and parents don't? Doesn't it make sense that before you can become a parent, you should have some training? Think about it. All comments are welcome.

Great suggestion!! There should be a license for parenting! Or at least some kind of course for future parents, with basic concepts of pedagogy and child psychology.
It depends on a teachers knowledge and skills to transfer that knowledge how much will you learn from them.

It definitely makes sense that parents should have some training, but I think it comes down to the fact that what your parents teach you will never be tested on a state or national exam. I think it also helps that teachers are trained because some parents are teaching their children things that just aren't right. Not only will it be helpful for a teacher to have multiple ways to correct the mistake, but it usually takes some well trained tact to explain to parents why what they taught isn't necessarily the right thing or the right way.
As a teacher, I would love if some parents had a bit more training!!!

We learn from both. Teachers teach about academics and parents teach values and morals. It just depends on the student if they learn more from their parents or teachers. I just depends on family life and their situation at school and the classroom they are in.
