    they were originally the Boston patriots up until 1971 when ownership changed then they became the new england patriots.... they also will be fighting for the AFC championship and grace you with their performance at the superbowl on Feb. 4th

    YES, they have always been the New England Patriots *AT* foxboro.

    they were the Boston Patriots when they played at Boston then in 1971 when they moved to Foxboro they became the New England Patriots, and been New England ever since they were at foxboro

    no.Originally called the Boston Patriots, the ownership changed the name after relocating the team to Foxboro in 1971.
