yah I heard my friend singing and it hurt.
We usually listen to music really loud, so I didn't notice before, but she had her headphones on and started singing. It was horrible. I'm scarred. but you should let her down easy...
say that you don't mean in in a mean way, you just want her to know how you feel. say that you didn't want to say anything before, but you thought she might want to hear your opinion. if she gets angry, act like you're upset that she doesn't value your opinion. That should work :)
maybe

Why do you have to be there?
Tell her you don't want to go with her to her singing classes anymore. Tell her that she might be a good singer eventually but she isn't there yet.

If she is really a friend like you say she is, you need to be honest
with her. A true friendship will stand through anything. Bad news is always best coming from a friend than an enemy.

You don't have to be there. Just tell her that you should be doing other things and she can go by herself. As far as the talent thing goes, her instructor will either mold her or not but he/she will tell her if she has a future at all.

You may tell her that singing is not her right choice. I feel as a good friend you have the right to guide her.

Just tell her how you feel about her singing. Tell her that you don't want to be with her during her singing lessons. Just be honest, it's better than leading her on.

it sounds like you're jealous. why are you going with her? i'm sure she is not putting a wepon against your head and FORCING you to go!tell her you have prior engagements, and if you feel she has SUCH a horrid voice.....well, at least the lessons will make it berable(hopefully)
