Took the battery out of the jetski because someone else insisted on charging it...?

Now, I put it back in and reconnected it and it doesn't turn over at all...like there is no battery...Is it connected back wrong, or is there something else that could be a serious problem?

Update:

I reconnected it, and now it doesn't turn over at all...Yes, I connected the + and - properly, without crossing wires...Is it hooked up wrong, or could something more serious be wrong?...It turned over before the battery was removed...

Check the battery with a multimeter or battery tester your friend may have ruined your battery.

It sounds like the battery cells dried up, and this means the battery is shot.
