A nine year old boy who is having sex is child abuse or child neglect. Nine year old boys should be outside climbing trees and rollerblading or playing soccer.

This poor child has great obstacles to overcome to living any kind of a normal life. He needs to undergo many hours of councelling to be able to get on with life. If you know of someone in this situation, please get him help.

Sometimes kids do just experiment and this does not effect their sexuality. However, a nine year old and a 12 year old should not be doing this kind of stuff full stop. If its a re-occuring thing then it needs to be stopped right now. It may not effect the long term outcome of their sexuality, but it could screw with their mental health at a later date.

Herosam20, you are bound to get a lot of negative feedback along with those suppose its actually you who is the child in question. However guys, people do actually come on here for genuin advice. To answer your question, it won't turn him gay - he either is or he isn't.

If he is gay, then I still think he's a little too young to be involved with someone.

If he isn't gay, while I still think he's too young..., then the experience may leave him wondering about sex and sexuality, but it won't turn him gay.

The question is, is he mentally and emotionally mature enough to be able to handle physical intimacy?

And in answer to your question that will be removed, no it will not TURN him gay. Whether there are psychiatric issues that might arise I am not sure, but you could pose your question in the psychology section if you are actually interested.

He may have a "crush" on him, and yes, they can at that age. However, even 12 years old is YOUNG. For pedophilia to apply the age difference, legally, has to be 5 years or more and one party must be 16.
