What do I need to know when purchasing a new mother board for my computer?

My current computer is a Dell Dimension B110 with one Gig RAM. I'd like a board with a PCI slot and PCI express slot for my video card.

Update:

I'd like to play more demanding video games like Oblivion, which I believe requires a more powerful video card.

you need to maje sure that the motherboard you select will be compatible with all of your other hardware - but i think it will be. Also make sure that the new motherboard will fit in your computer tower.

Visit www.howstuffworks.com and run a search for mother board. Then naturally, be prepared to deck at least 300 from your bank account if you're going to replace the MoBo and get a cutting-edge video card.
