Okay, here's how it is. I have a date tonight, its my first, and I'm 18. We're going out for dinner, and then to a dance at school. I was wondering if I should get her a gift. (i.e. flowers, candy, etc.) And any other advice you could give would help also.

Be yourself. Dont' get too overcomplimetnary- but a "you smell nice" as you open her car door to put her in is GREAT! If you buy her flowers, leave them at her home when you pick her up. And she can smell them later to remeber you and the great night she had! Good Luck!

I think getting her something is a good idea, but don't go overboard. If you spend a lot of money, hoping to impress her, you might end up scaring her off instead. The idea is to appear interested, and considerate, but not desperate.

Don't show too much interest on the first date
Be normal. Dont buy flowers or anythings.

flowers would be cute....but give them to her if she can leave them at the house and not hav to take them w/her...cuz if she will hav to carry them w/her than its not a good idea....just stay calm and be confident...dnt be coky....confident....let her think u know wut your doing....relax...and hav fun!!
