Do the people who report other people receive points?

I'm just wondering. Earlier this week I lost 10 points. I responded to a joke with "That's funny I'll have to pass that around"

My violation was for "Chatting". So is it wrong to respond to a joke? If that's the case we are all "Chatting"

Last month I responded with "????" because the question made no sence so I lost 10 points.

So do people get points for reporting "abuse" ?

No I don't think so. That is stupid you lost points for that. And everyone responds to jokes. A lot of the time people are bored so they report you for stupid things I bet because there is no logical reason for you to be reported. People who report for those reasons get on my nerves. I'd onyl report if it was offensive.

Nope, they just get the people to lose their question. Most of the time they report people writing stuff in poor taste.

Instead of leaving just "???" say something about the question not making any sense. They have a category to report people that don't answer the question. I wouldn't even think about reporting someone for leaving "???" though.

No. I can't see why they would. Logically, it just wouldn't make any sense. If that were truly the case, a person could go around reporting anybody for anthing all the time just to rack up the points. And I don't think Yahoo would allow for that to happen.

Am I the only goof who'd provide up a factor for reporting? might that furnish any discouragement for fake reporting (harrassment)? i think of I examine that even get right of entry to to our digital mail account might desire to be jeopardized if being reported led to our being ousted from the sport.

Most likely not. If so, people would be reporting people for no reason all over the place.

I agree with ~Jennifer! I'm always getting "violation emails"and losing points for the stupidest crap ever! People that do that need to get a grip.

I don't know, I've never lost any points for being reported but it's stupid when I am. I asked if anyone knew any bands with numbers in their names or colors in their names so I got reported for I think advertising. It's so stupid.
