Merry Christmas (Eve)
I have seen a couple of requests for Ukrainian food.
We are having our "meatless" Christmas Eve dinner tonight.
I am making borscht.
Others are making perogies, Kutya (boiled wheat with honey, poppy seed and walnuts), cabbage roles, fish and I am not sure what else.
Do you celebrate Christmas now?
What are you having for dinner tonight to celebrate?
Do you have any good Ukrainian/Russian recipes you would like to share?
:)
And Polish recipes.
Who else celebrates Christmas on Jan 7?
This was our first try at making the boiled wheat.
It did not turn out that great.
:(
Any recipes would be helpful.

Well, it sounds like you are going to have a very nice Christmas Eve Dinner tonight. I wish you and yours all the best on this special night. I don't celebrate much of anything on Jan. 7. It's just another day to me. Have a wonderful time!
