I was asked a question and when I answered, they said they can't understand my answer?

My father is a billionaire and he has an arms company and he is a shareholder in the British American Tobacco company. I am helping my father run the company though I am new

One of the investers in our company asked me, "what do you to the critics who compare the tobacco industry to alcohol?".

This is what I answered.

"I say uh uh. I'm rubber and they are glue and anything they say bounces off me and sticks to a ......dam."

I think I answered clearly. What do you guys think

I think either A. considering u are a billionaire, u should as a personal adviser... or B. tobacco has far worse long term effects whereas alcohol can just kill someone right away (drunk driving, stupid mistake ect).. this question is so stupid it didn't really deserve an answer, but i was bored..

I can see how he thinks you didnt answer clearly, your answer is a saying most used when people are trying to reflect any bad things said about them back to the other person who it originates from as a counter measure to show the other person that they arent hurt by what was said....

How old are you? And if you gave an answer like that why is your father even letting you work for him, does he want to go broke?
