I am still not getting a point for rating questions and answers..?
I read that you get a point when you rate a best answer and question, I'm not getting that.

The only time you get the point is when you are voting for an unresolved question.

YOU will get the thumbs up points if your answer is picked as best. But just to rate questions and answers, you dont get points for that.
Rating is just telling them it was good or not good.

Yahoo changed the rules a couple of months ago. They took away the points that we used to earn rating best answers. You can rate all you like, but you won't get points for it....which is why many of us have stopped rating.

No u don't. You get a point when you get a thumbs up after your answer has been chosen as a best answer. Not when you rate, only when others rate you.
