i want to find out if you know what it takes to keep the u.s. oil&gas industry going logisticly (offshore GOM)

i already know the answer i am just curious to find out how many people actually know what it takes to keep oil and gas platforms in the gulf of mexico going and the safety measures that have been implimented in the last few years also the shore logistics involved as well as personell

    well after katrina I am certainly intrested in that. i actually have not hacked the finacial records of those corporations to find out. It is likely that the Government sees that strategic information and is not likely to broadcast it any time soon. In particular if the gulf takes another hit like katrina. ball park guess? I'd say 2 billion ...just to keep it afloat one year.
