First, you need to talk to your dr/pediatrician to find out about which foods to not feed at certain times - some people believe in restrictions for eggs, strawberries, honey, etc. so you need to get a list from the dr.
Secondly, you don't need recipes, just common sense. Cook whatever veggies you have, smash them up, even add a bit of broth to them to liquify them a little bit, and there you go - carrots, peas, beans, etc. Babies like mashed potatoes. For fruits, smashed bananas - can add some milk, or anything else. There's nothing funnier than seeing a baby's face when you give him a piece of orange to suck on the first time! For meats, you just have to make sure they are really soft, and again, you can add broth. For freezing anything, make sure they are packaged in airtight containers or freezer bags, and they would keep well for four to six months, I would think.

the best and most nutritious foods you can possible give baby are jarred baby foods at the grocery store- adult foods, even mashed foods are too harsh to start the baby out with, so please for the baby's sake, don't give him adult foods and NO ADDITIVES like salt or sugar or flavorings. they will upset his stomach. you can even find organic baby foods in a jar or plastic sealed container. you shouldn't feed him anything out of cans until he is graduated out of baby foods!! call a doctor or something if you really don't know this...

Try this white or cheese sauce.

Melt butter in small pan. Stir in flour; cook, stirring, until bubbling.

Start with veggies.
Also when you are freezing, maybe try freezing in ice cube trays... that way you can 'pop' out th eportion you need.
