How much does it cost to drive on the Tri-State Tollway in Chicago? Like how much is each booth/exit/etc...?

On the illinois Tri State the tolls are at several intervals. One is right after you cross I80 from Indiana that toll is .40 with an ipass or .80 with cash. There is another toll after 95th street (about 10 miles later) another one is about 10 miles after that right after you cross I88. The next one is by Ohare airport. These are all the same price. There is another toll up by wisconsin that I believe is .75 with ipass and 1.50 without. I can't find this online anywhere! I know there's toll plazas every 20-30 miles or something, but no idea if that's like 50 cents or $5 or what!!

It all depends on if you have an ipass or not. If you don't which I am guessing you don't since you are asking the question. Most tolls are 80 cents. If you have I pass most are 40 cents. On the tollways there are tolls at some exits and the cost varies on how far you have traveled since the last toll booth. I know I 355 tollroad has 50 cent tolls for I pass and $1.00 for cash.

Actually there are questions and answers abound that show so much more. One today listed by link that 85 hospitals had t close due t this and many mentioned being at the ER and one gentlemen mentioned his daughter was real sick, but had to wait for all the upset stomachs, colds and the like. It is a huge problem and now we find out that diseases that had been stamped out are now on the rise. People do not understand. Not only do you have the southern border and the fluff number of 15 million, but we issue 8-9 million visas a year and these folks come from all over the world. Now when the visa expires over a third are 3 million hide out in the country. Anyway the number of all could be more than 40-60 million. one answer mentioned that in 1986 they made 3 times as many legal residents than they had assumed. Great question, but I have seen it more in the billions. Take care. Might look back at other questions.

On I-294 (Tri-State) Between I-80 & I-90 there are 4 toll booths and each costs $.80 if you do not have I pass. Make sure you stay to the right if you do not have I-pass or you will be stuck in the "open road tolling" lanes and you could be given a ticket for driving through without paying.
