CD/DVD Drives?? Can u make one default?...........?

I added a DVD drive to my computer, which is E drive now. When I try to copy somthing to the CD,(D drive), it will not let me copy? It will copy only in DVD drive.....Is that ok? Will I be able to use the same CD to add more stuff later on, like pictures & etc.? Or can I make my CD drive default for copying pictures & etc.? If so, how?

    Rearrange jumper setting for both i.e. master,primary etc then try
