does any know what that sail in Blue's Clues is for?

every time i watch that show with my son i see it and it drives me nuts. what does it mean? is it just a fun thing to find or what?

i meant SNAIL not sail. sorry shitty computer.

Update 2:

i watch blues clues like 9 times a day. every scene there is tiny pink snail behind a desk or something. in fact in one episode they pointed it out on the show. so i know its there.

    I have never seen the snail? Mother of a two and three year old maybe the station is putting it on there

    What channel do you watch it on. I have had my daughter watch Blues Clues on Noggin and there is always some symbol in the corner (usually a face with some sort of seasonal symbol on top), but I don't think I ever noticed a snail on the show.
