Rectal thermometer?
A doctor walked into a bank. Preparing to endorse a check, he pulled a rectal thermometer out of his shirt pocket and tried to 'write' with it.
Realizing his mistake, he looked at the thermometer with annoyance and said, "Well that's great, just great... some a*****e's got my pen."

I would admit to being a rectal thermometer tester. Interesting party conversation and I would love to see the look on a date's face when I told him what I did for a living.
