Solve as follows: 1 Each subdivision of four blocks must reveal the numbers one, two, three and four. 2/ Adjacent blocks (horizontally or vertically) may never be of identical numeric value, even if they are in different subdivisions.

are we estimating??
so i use 9, since 1/4 is less than half
then i'll use 9 again, since 2/3 is more than half (2/3 = 4/6)
so then you get 81

first, convert to fractions
37/4 x 26/3
reduce to lower terms
37/2 x 13/3
481/6 = 80 1/6

step one__multiply nine by four which is thirtysix add the one that is over the four you will get thirtyseven and you put it over four write that below.
step two__multiply eight by three which is twentyfour and add it to the two that is over the the three you will get twentysix then you put it over the three and put it below-beside the answer you got first you cancel both and then multiplyt you will get 481 over 6 you cancel that andget 80 and 1 over six.
i hope this is how they do it in your country i am from jamaica and this is how wer do it.
