How to recover the linux after installing Windows?
I had linux on my system and now i have installed windows too
problem is now no boot options of linux r coming instead windows boots normally.My linux is fedora core 2

Download a program called BootUS. If you didnt dump the original partition and you created a second partition for windows, this software will find them, set up the boot selection screen, and allow you to choose any boot sequence you desire.

I've never done it, but everybody else says that you are supposed to install windows first, then linux. this is because windows will automatically overwrite your master boot record. if you can, uninstall and reinstall linux, or install the fedora core boot loader.

if you didnt make another partition. then windows most likely have deleted it. that's why i think it is better to install windows first and linux second. Windows is such a bully
