What is didosearch? Has Anyone heard of this, and how do I go about removing it?

Whenever I search for something on Yahoo! another window opens that says didosearch and then it disappears. Please help!

Sounds like a "url search hook" is in place and it's probably accompanied by other nasties. I can assist you if you follow the instructions for posting a HijackThis log here: http://malwaremedic.suddenlaunch3.com/index.cgi?bo...

P.S. To the poster above: Avenger is a tool made by Swandog46 and needs a manual script made by a security expert to work.

AVG's removal tool "vcleaner.exe" can be found at this link http://www.grisoft.cz/softw/70/filedir/util/avg_re... but at this point, without any solid information, there is no evidence to support the fact that the tool will solve the problem, so why would you recommend it???

I would recommend installing and running an anti spyware program....sounds like this is either spyware or virus....try installing the free version of avenger, it's a great program...and will find anything that should not be on your computer

here is the link to avenger the free version
