London, Paris, Italy?
I really really really want to visit London, Paris, Italy, and well basically all of Europe. [Mostly England, France and Italy though] But I don't know where to visit or where to go site seeing.
Where would you recommend to go? Any facts I should know about any of those places? Any places I shouldn't go to? I need to know where you think is the most worthwhile place to go. :]
Any fun places to go to for a 13-year old? Site-seeing, famous places?

i did all 3 plus more in 2004 when i took my goddaughter on a month long trip to europe for her 16thday. this is what we did. spent a week in london saw all the sites, tower, big ben, stonehenge, jack the ripper tour, saw broadway show, saw maroon5 in concert, shopped at herods and at camden market, ect. then we took the train thru the chunnel to paris where i picked up our rental car and headed north to lille, france to visit up there and see beligum, then we headed south to metz france to visit the surrounding area including luxembourg, then we traveled to munich germany and did many stops along the way beautiful drive i must say. then we traveled quickly thru austria and lichenstein to zurich switzerland (beautiful city but i will never drive there again horrible to get around) then we zigged and zagged our whole way south to italy. we stopped in turin italy but it was so dirty and under construction (we had no clue that bc of the olympics were going to be held there it was a nightmare of construction) so we skipped it after driving around for an hour and headed straight to the french riveria to Beaulieau sur mer which is near monoco and nice. after several beautiful days in the french riveria we arrived back in paris for a week where we ended our vacation. it was the best trip ever something like 6-8 countries we traveled in our through it was a 1 in a lifetime experience. i highly suggest saving your money and going all out on 1 big trip and trying to see as much as u can like we did. ive been back to europe for 2wks at a time but always one location at a time- like the french riveria, and i think you get the most of your money if u can go over there for at least a month rather than flying back an forth from the states visiting each area you want seperately. it is expenisve, mind you i work in the travel industry so hotels and train and car rental were deeply discounted. for the 2 of us 28days including everything tolls, gas, trinkets, food, plane tickets, admissions to places, show tickets, local tours, tips and my discounts on the car, train and hotels it came to 5k. which is dirt cheap considering what the dollar to euro is now. (it was only 10-20cents more on the dollar when i went- now its more like 30cents on the dollar). i think if you have limited resources, time or money best bet is go to london, see the countryside and do all the touristy stuff in the city then take the train to paris and see all the sights but cut out italy. try to localize your visit between the uk and france since its only a short train ride away! best sercret place in all of paris, even the people of paris didnt kno it, i had to look it up online to get directions to the subway stop, are the catacombs! jim morrisons grave unless u r a superfan is a waste of time- its surrounded by a barrier and u can spend hrs wandering around looking for it (as i did) bc its unmarked. the best thing about paris is the latin quarter. its hip, its cheap and fun! worse thing about paris it can be dirty and the homeless laying around u can literally trip over them. best part of london is the subway use it its very easy! best secret of london are the local tours everything u could be interested in they have and they r cheap or free and best of all their tour guides are very educated about their subjects, to this day my goddaughter talks about the jack the ripper tour we took by a well known author we walked the london streets at night with him visiting all the haunts by the serial killer. i wouldnt recommend northern italy except for lake como area. i wasnt impressed at all with turin but i did love the italian riveria area.

Well for London your kids will have pleeeeenty to do! The Tower of London, Madame Tussauds, Londeon Dungeons - there is so much to do. These can be expensive though so find out prices before hand and budget. A ghost tour of Lonodn is cheaper and at night - very spooky and fun!
Or why not just go elsewhere in England? York is lovely and cheaper than London or Cambridge which is fantastic.
Rome is stunnign and all the major sites are very easy to get to but the traffic is a nightmare and its pricey - I'd recommend it though.
Venice is not to be missed as well.
In France, why not see the real France and go to places off the beaten track. Rodez is nice for a few days, as are Rouen, Nimes etc. Or go to Picardy and the Somme valley to see the World World I sites?
I'd also recommend Prague whichi s relatively cheap, and Bratislava and Krakow which is absolutely gorgeous!

I've been all over europe. My favorite was Spain. I really enjoyed Italy, Switzerland, Holland, Luxemburg. I did like Southern France. Alot of things to see. Just the culture is interesting. If I were you I would go to your local book store and in the Travel section they have different books on the areas, which have alot of information, then you can decide on what would interest you. Where to go will depend on how long you are going there and your method of travel. Have fun!

There are numerous people who would laugh at the prospect of changing their destinies. This is because it believes that no one gets more that exactly what is written in his destiny.
