Which tube line for Arkwright?

Will be visiting London soon; we want to stay in the city but be on the same tube line as Arkwright which is either a suburb or a neighborhood on the outskirts of the city. If you are familiar with London, could you please let me know which tube line goes to Arkwright? I can then select a hotel close to that tube line (but I will gladly take recommendations-- budget up to $200 USD/night, sorry, don't know how to make the pound sign on my laptop!)

Thanks!

I have never heard of a London suburb/neighborhood named Arkwright. There is however an Arkwright Road, South Croydon and an Arkwright Road, Camden. South Croydon and Camden are both areas in London.

The other answer is correct, there is no suburb or district called "Arkwright". If it IS Arkwright Road in Camden, then Finchley Rd tube station (Jubilee and Metropolitan lines) will be your nearest stop, although Camden Town on the Northern Line wouldn't be bad either.

Croydon is not on the tube network, so you would have to use the overground trains. Best bet would be to get to East Croydon station and pick up a taxi from there.
