what do newborns, humans and animals both, dream about since theyve not experienced the world yet?

    they probably dream about sounds they've heard in their limited experience of life, and things they've seen. only after a period of time will their dreams become more complex. even a baby in the womb dreams about things that could be heard through the wombs walls, and the swirling colours of its eyelids.
