Mystery Case Files Ravenhurst?
I can't get past the egg laying chicken thing - I've done the combination like the clue says, also the recipe - but I can't get the chicken to lay the other 2 eggs! Please don't say gamefaqs, or other cheat sheets - the game is too new - and they don't have them. Help!!???

Here is the solution:
1. toast the bread (not really necessary) to go get the hint 3 1/2
2. Position the thing on the ruler @ 3 1/2 inches
3. Shoot the apple (point the gun at the apple, it will reveal # % <
4. Type that into the key pad towards the top of the screen, a boot should appear
5. Place the battery (beside the apple) in the box with levers and handle
6. Notice the 2 buttons by the bottles? The top one moves the bottles, the bottom put the stuff from the bottle into the bowl.
7. Follow the recipes.
8. Pull the level by the check head (by the boot)
9. the chicken should cluck and eat the food and drop of colored egg into the egg holder.
10. Once you have created 2 eggs (4 eggs total in the holder), change the colors in the lever box to match the order of the eggs.
Click on the door handle, door will open.
