a "one night stand" is having sex just once. it might not have been meant to be that but that is what it ends up as.Like when you meet a girl or guy in a bar, go home with them, expect to see them again(on both sides) but you never hear from them again. As in "I was just a one night stand to him/her". Usually happens when both parties or either drunk or stoned, or could just be a guy or girl using the other party to get what they want(sex).
