There is about 5 miles of wire in an average car so finding a short can be a bit tricky. Start by takeing the bulbs out from your interior lights one at a time and check to see if the short is gone each time, if the short goes away just leave that bulb out. But I have found that most of the time the short will be in the door switch that turns your lights on when you open the door. Or if you added some thing in the car where you might have put in a screw.

sparks coming out...theres your sign...loose wire in the box . did it have a 10 of 15 amp fuse from factory? if you put large radio and amp in it may b too big for the wires

Sounds like to me, that you have a ground wire... somewhere... grounding out your hot wires... you could possibly put in an "in-line" fuse on your radio main hot wire, to keep the surge from blowing out your fuses....it could be as simple as you have your hot wire and ground wire installed backwards on your radio...hope this helps!

this means its wired wrong,,or it has a dead short probably in the interior lights for it..you,ll have to trace through every wire starting from the interior light ,and do this until you find it,,its going to take a while, electrical work is 90% finding the problem,,and 10% repairing it,,good luck with it,,and take your time,,don't over look the problem,,its going to either be a shorted out wire,,or one that has gotten against bare metal,,good luck.
