Honestly...What is wrong with Paula Abdul???

Well, in 1992 she confesed to having an eating disorder, bulimia and checked herself into a clinic. I believe she has fully recovered from that health concern and then it was mentioned that she was suffering from depression in the late 90's. However, the major health conern (lots of pain) that Paula faces day in and day out is from RSD. Those who watch American Idol, there has been some rumors that she's weird acting-drunk or addicted to something. She found out about the rumors and decided to come clean with what's going on. She's had RSD for 25 years. She talks about the dibilitating pain, the tons of meds you try (nothing worked-Vicodin, Oxy, Soma, etc.), she's had 12 surgeries, each time having hope, then would end up back in pain. Twice she's had paralysis on one side of her body. It came from a cheerleading accident when she was a teenager. It affected her marriages because with pain you tend to isolate yourself. She talks about the depression.

She finally met a doctor from UCLA/Cedars-Sinai who helped her, and gave her hope. She has 1 shot (which she gives herself) once a week of Enbrel.

Just be glad you are not in so much pain daily!

i like Paula too,yet that selection into undeniable extraordinary. It merely approximately looked like she exchange into below the impression of alcohol. Ross exchange into attempting to not combat along with her. perhaps they are going to clarify it a sprint on American Idol this night. they'd say that she exchange into drained, or she had a crappy ear piece, or human beings have been distracting her, or she's merely gotten overwhelmed simply by fact the season's commencing and all of the interviews she has to do. there is no excuse for that form of habit although.

She's not taking pills for anything but to get high. It's actually very sad. She was very talented at one time and now she's a complete mess. What she needs is to seek help before she completely destroys herself.

She is just old, washed up and is clearly desperate for attention. So she is going to drastic measures, like looking like a pill popper. Kinda feel sorry for her...egh not really.

She is taking to many pills. Probadly drinks a little and that doesn't mix well with the pills.

Lotsa pills for pain/depression.

She has a type of illness called RSD or something can't really remember. She's a sick woman

She's on tons of painkillers. There is something wrong with her that causes a lot of pain. (no clue what)
