Separated at birth! Are you my twin?
I live in the state of colorado and I have been told not only by people I am associated with but also by the friends of this woman, that she look sexactly like me. SO much like me that even her closest friends have thought that I am her. I was at the people's fair in denver some years ago and ran into a woman who thoguth I was someone else. A woman by the name of Faye(spelling?). I never was able to find out if she and looked so much alike because the whole encounter scared me so I left. I wish I hadn't. If you're out there and you have any information or you are her then pleas post here. Thank you

I hope you find your twin. If you were adopted, then the adoption agency should be able to help. Good luck.

You don't say if you have any reason to think you have brothers or sisters from whom you've been separated, but based on the way your question is phrased, I'll assume that's the case.
I'm truly sorry you were so scared when you encountered "Faye" at the people's fair, and I hope you are curious enough now that if it happens again, you'd not be afraid to at least chat with her.
There might be more than one other female who looks a lot like you, I've seen several look-alike of my friends.
The chances that that woman will see your question here on Yahoo is pretty slim. But you might check rootsweb.com for some information about finding a twin. Do you have your birth certificate and can the hospital give you any information if you were one half of a twin?
I know that wondering about our families and our ancestors can be a very powerful thing, and I wish you the very best in your search. The important thing is *not* to be scared, there's absolutely no reason to be scared......
