What is the difference in Financial Sales and Financial Analysis?

I am considering job options and want to know the difference.

    I think financial sales is going to be something entailing sales - obviously, right? I think it will be something involving selling annuities, financial plans, budgeting, and the like.

    No financial analysis...ahhh I know something about that. Basically you will be analyzing the companies finances. Normally financial analysts will not do the entire companies records, but a division of a company (depending on the size) in order to see where money is being spent and where processes can be improved or changed to improve profitability.

    It may sound boring, but it really is interesting and there is a lot of room for growth; plus, you will learn a lot about the business, and about business in general. Financial analysts can move up to very high levels due to this experience.
