I am trying to move my QB pro 05 to my desktop with a flash player 7 error?

I am trying to move my QB pro 05 to my desktop and when I try to install it a box pops up and says that I need to download flash player 7. The problem is that I can't find flash player 7 anywhere to be found. I have downloaded flash player 9 which I tested and know that it is installed correctly and that doesn't work. I noticed someone else posted this question & someone answered by saying "Here is an how to easily resolve the "Flash 7" error: "First, put the Quickbooks CD into the CD drive and exit out of the install screen when (if) it appears. Next, right click on the START button, select 'explore' and navigate to the CD drive. You should now be able to see the contents of the CD. Open the folder labled 'QBooks' and then double-click on the file labled 'QuickBooks.msi'. This will bypass the Flash 7 check and allow you to install Quickbooks." Problem is I went to the QBooks folder and there is no file in there called QuickBooks.msi anywhere. Can someone help me with this?

The instructions you have are correct. There is a file 'quickbooks.msi' on the installation CD. Depending on your version of Windows and your display preferences, you may not 'see' the .msi extension. In the View menu at the top of the Explore screen you can change the view to 'Details'. Look in the 'type' column for 'Windows Installer Package'. That will be the file you are looking for. Once found, double click and the installation will proceed.
