Do democrats know that Bush isn't running for president?

The main platform of the democrats for a while has been Bush-bashing. Anything Bush says, they automatically disagree. That's all they talk about...Bush, Bush, Bush. Do they know that he isn't running in 2008? They are going to need something else to stand on if they want to win. But then again, many in this country would probably still vote for a Democrat who has nothing else to talk about other than Bush.

Update:

BTW-- I'm not giving anybody a thumbs down, so don't think it's me.

I honestly don't think that they have even thought about that fact.

It is funny to watch and listen to them. They claim that President Bush doesn't listen to anyone, yet he listened when they suggested that he increase the troops in Iraq to bring about an end to the war quicker.

Then what do they do? They do a complete 180 and act as though this is a terrible idea - concocted by the evil "Bush Regime"

Their flip flopping cowardess never ceases to amaze me. The only thing that they have proven to be effective at other than raising taxes is bashing President Bush.

I agree. The Bush thing is SO old. Democrats can only come up with the whole Iraq thing. Other than that they use weak personal attacks. What we really should be thinking about is the man "who was the next president of the United States," Al Gore. This man is a Hypocrite. He blames republicans for not doing anything bout global warming, while driving in a limo bigger than a small plane If global warming has been going onfor a while, why didn't he and St.Clinton do anything about it when they were i n office. If u ask me this is a scam so the government can take back the govrnment and mess it up again so we will live in an "equal" communist society. Yay?!?!?!?

The main reason that the Democrats are still Bush bashing is because he is still doing a horrible job. Plus If a Democrat is voted in then they will be stuck cleaning up all of Bush's messes. Just like Clinton had to do for the Reagan-Bush era.

Yes, yet the bush base is still there as well as its representatives. Bush is merely a figurehead of a opposition party in which the Democrats are voting against. The republican party took this country in the wrong direction which was lead by bush, that is why he is the forefront of opposition among Democrats.

Of course. "Bush Bashing" isn't their platform, that will be formulated once a candidate gets the nomination. Right now Bush is President and they are opposing the Bush policies and actions they disagree with and rightly so. The campaign is a year away.

I wish I could say the Democrats will find somebody new to complain about soon, but I'd be lying. 20 years from now you'll be sitting on your front porch drinking lemonade and someone is going to blurt out that "Dubya" was a big moron. The only difference will be that they'll complain about all the other Republicans in the last 20 years in the same sentance.

I will complain about Bush until the very day the new president is sworn into office. He ought to be ashamed of himself.

yes...they do...and do the Republicans still try to blame Clinton for everything?

and i think not only should we talk about Bush and his administration...we should investigate.

Obama in 08...can you dig it!

    It doesn't seem like it.

I wonder who or what they'll blame and what they'll talk about when Bush isn't president any more?

I would think so since he is in his second term and he can't run again.
