  • Pizza Hut charges $2 for delivery. Does that mean I don't have to tip the driver? And a question about Sonic?

Does that $2 go to the driver, or to line Pizza Hut's wallet? I feel like I'm paying double to deliver my pizza.

I also wonder about Sonic. They bring the food to your car. Do I tip them? I currently don't. Woopdy doo, you walked 20 feet to bring me my food when you didn't take my order or make it or bag it, and I'm supposed to pay you for your trouble? Don't you already get a paycheck for doing just that? I worked at a fast food place where we had to take the orders, partially make the order, put it on the tray, and take the food to the tables and I wasn't supposed to accept tips.

  • Should I feel sorry for a pedestrian getting killed while trying to cross 8 lanes of traffic?

I'm not sorry that I don't feel sorry for someone who gets hurt or killed while crossing accross 8 lanes of traffic on an interstate. In an unrealted case, I also don't feel sorry for this guy who fell down while trying to run accross a busy 4 lane road while it was raining. He slipped and fell in one of the lanes and people got out to help him. I thought the guy was an idiot and I don't help ioidts. To me, he should have waited for his turn to cross when the light changed.

Am I wrong in feeling this way? Surely there are others who feel like I do.

  • Why does the air from the A/C smell bad after switching from the heater to the A/C?

This is only an issue around this time of the year and in the fall (when we need the heater for the nights and mornings, and then we need to switch it to air conditioner sometime during the day). Going from A/C to heater doesn't smell bad, but it does going from heater to A/C. Anybody know why?

  • Downtown parking?

I'm downtown everyday and I'm thinking about finding a new parking lot/garage but I don't know where to look and I really just want a list of the lots/garages I can use. Free would be nice, but I might be willing to pay up to a certain amount. I'm looking for south and/or east downtown, but I'm open to other places (that's not where I park now, but it would be nice.)

Is there a site where I can find this information? Or do you have a great suggestion? Thanks in advance.

  • Did you get your wisdom teeh removed? Or do you still have them?

I was talking to a family member about wisdom teeth and she said that everybody gets them removed because that's what you're "supposed" to do. I disagreed. I still have mine and I don't think I'm alone. So.....do you have yours or did you get them removed? Add detail if you want to, but you don't have to.

  • Do democrats know that Bush isn't running for president?

The main platform of the democrats for a while has been Bush-bashing. Anything Bush says, they automatically disagree. That's all they talk about...Bush, Bush, Bush. Do they know that he isn't running in 2008? They are going to need something else to stand on if they want to win. But then again, many in this country would probably still vote for a Democrat who has nothing else to talk about other than Bush.

  • Protecting oil, what's wrong with that?

Regardless on whether or not you think that we are in Iraq to protect oil, I have a question for everyone.

What's wrong with wanting to protect our oil sources? People act like that's a bad thing. This country's blood is oil. We could not survive one day without it. Yes, even the "green" people need oil in their everyday lives...it's not just for gasoline. Speaking of gasoline, you would be upset if we suddenly had to pay $6 or more for a gallon of gas, well that would happen if we lost one of our sources of oil.

BTW- I think we are in Iraq for more reasons than just oil. All of those reasons are nothing but good. But that's not what this question is about, so don't tell me if we are in Iraq for oil or not. Focus on the question at hand.

  • Trying to connect to internet. How do I simply connect and go?

My friend came over with her laptop and she needed to connect to the internet. I disconnected the line from my desktop so she could plug it into her laptop, but she wasn't online. What did we need to do so that she could be online? Did I need to install something? What steps do I need to take next time so that it will work?

  • Best headphones?

I'm looking for some good headphones. Not earbuds, and not those that go behind your head. Just regular headphones.

I got some the other day and the sound is very muffled, it sounds like I'm underwater. What do you recommend?

  • Have you ever given a great answer and it gets a thumbs down? How is this answer bad?

This has happened to me before, but I'm beginning to get annoyed. I'm not sure if the asker gave me a thumbs down or somebody else. If it was the asker, then how could he say it was a bad answer, especially compared to the other two? Take a look: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=200701...

  • Are you too good to work in fast food?

Okay, so it's not the best job in the world, but it's a real job, that pays real money, and it is really hard at times (if you do your job right)(working with customers, bad bosses, lots of work need to be done as quickly as possible).

Why do people put it down? It is important to society. How many times a week do you depend on fast food workers? Working in fast food was a part of my past, I did it for 6 years, 5 years being a shift manager. It is a difficult job, and people with bad attitudes about fast food workers make up most of that difficulty.

You know, this is why this country needs Mexicans....because too many other people are too good to do certian jobs. There is no shame in working for a living. Why do so many people look down upon these people? (I'm still talking about fast food here, keep that in mind when answering)

  • Outlet Mall Round Rock & San Marcos?

This is mainly a rant, but it does have a question and you are free to comment.

There are TWO outlet malls in San Marcos (combined 250 stores) that are right next to each other. There is an outlet mall in Round Rock (only 125 stores). The TWO that are in San Marcos have been there for YEARS. The ONE in Round Rock has been there for half a year.

Why is it that nobody seems to know about the SM malls? I tell people that I went to the outlet store, and they reply as if I were talking about the RR mall. I tell them, that I did not go to RR, and they ask me where I went. People seem to think that the RR mall is the only outlet mall in central Texas. Even those who are actually closer to San Marcos (my neighborhood is on the southside). Well, for their information.....people travel would travel (and still do) hundreds of miles to go to the SM outlet malls.

Do you remember the outlet malls in San Marcos? Or do you think the RR mall is the only mall?

  • Texas teachers?

Some people have strongly disagreed with me about this. I am a sophomore in college, going to graduate with EC-4 certification. I have been told by the university that student teaching is a must. Also, my mom had to do student teaching, as did my dad, cousin, and aunt. Lately on here, however, people say that student teaching is not required in Texas. I don't know what to think. What were you told?

  • What's the difference: SUV vs SAV?

I know what an SUV is (sport utility vehicle). But what is an SAV (sport activity vehicle)? What's the difference between the two? I see commercials say this now and it has me wondering.
