10k + 22 = 72

10k = 50

k = 5

2(25 + 35)/6 - 8 = 12

2(60)/6 - 8 = 12

20 - 8 = 12

12 = 12

5/6c - 2/3c = 1/3

Assume you mean

5c/6 - 2c/3 = 1/3

Clear the fractions as before

5c(6)/6 - 2c(6)/3 = 6(1/3)

5c - 4c = 2

c = 2

6 = 4Z

6/4 = 4Z/4 ------divide both sides
