Sore throat, constantly hungry, but simulataneously nausceous?

Started feeling sick yesterday. Unbelievably hungry by late afternoon and kept eating and eating - would eat and still be nausceous, then half an hour later I'm hungry again.

Sitting here starving but still slightly nausceous. What is this?

Throat virus or sinus infection...I get ravenous when I'm sick with a throat virus. It's like our bodies are preparing for the illness with hunger...we need extra nutrients.

Drainage from a potential sinus infection can make you nauseous. You are definitely fighting something...this happens to me a lot. I'm prone to getting sinus infections and strep throat, so I recognized your symptoms immediately.

If you drink lots of water and eat as much as you need to...you may be able to fight this without antibiotics. Actually, antibiotics will not help a virus anyway...but it would help you if you have a sinus infection. Sleep as much as you can too....getting yourself worn down will only make matters worse.

    Good Luck!

Sore throat is usually due to a viral infection. Gargling with warm salty water or mouthwash can reduce the pain and inconvenience. More details and home remedies available at http://ailments.in/sorethroat.html
