I have some materials below:-

The tent pole (or poles) holds up the tent. Also, I think the word "parts" is what you meant rather than materials?

    The window flap and outer cover are made of nylon; nylon is chosen because it's strong and light and waterproof. The rope is probably polypropolene. Poly ropes are chosen because they're milder resistant and don't get degreaded by the sun, and don't stretch or shrink when they get wet. The peg is probably HDPE or aluminum. Aluminum wire is very cheap and easy to form; the cost of hte peg is less then a penny. If it's a plastic peg (HDPE) then it's less likely to bend then the plastic peg, but more likely to break. The plastic pegs hold better because of their shape, but aren't as good for rocky soil.

    The tent pole is either aluminum or fiberglass. Aluminum is sturdier but heavier. It's a good choice for family tents. However, backpacking tents have fiberglass poles because they're lighter. Fiberglass is more expensive.
