I want to make a partition for Windows Vista.. help?

I have windows vista RTM but i dont have a product key to activate it. LOL do you know where i can get the key?

ok. I WANT TO MAKE A PARTITION FOR WINDOWS VISTA. MY HARD DRIVE IS 100 GB. I DONT WANT TO LOSE XP SO I'M MAKING A LITTLE PARTITION. IS 20GB ENOUGH TO RUN WINDOWS VISTA? FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD, 15GB IS REQUIRED FOR VISTA. help..

AND WHAT IF I WANT TO DELETE THE PARTITION, IS IT AUTOMATICALLY WILL COMBINED TO THE ORIGINAL PRIMARY PARTITION? THANKS

i have a mad experience about vista... you know when i did a clean install of windows vista.. it just takes up 5GB of hard drive. I dont know why but it just did..wtf

i'm not kidding. i did check my hard drive space before doing a clean install and after the install.

i just change it back to xp because its only 30days. now i want to create a partition for vista.

    Hi there. Not a legal copy of Vista huh? tsk .. hehs. Anyhow, as to your question. I'd advise at least 50GB or more, as Vista takes more space during installion. Now, if you delete a partiton, it will show you an "unpartitioned space" on the hard drive. you need to "merge" it back to your primary partition. U can do this thru Computer Management, under Adminstrative Tools.

    P.S. Oh yeah, good idea to download that advisor off M$'s site to see if you need the Vista's min requirements.

    Partioning won't injury your hardware yet as you having Vista and its improve of Xp it won't permit you install Xp on it.First You partition your force there is in outfitted partiton supervisor in it and partition magic softwares additionally are available... then you definately positioned in Xp and then as you having the Acer workstation you will discover restoration disc and then u can deploy Vista. My chum is utilising the two working device simelatneously yet its a crack version of Xp so its working for Cracks so u attempt this way..... and backup ur archives and anyhow as u havin the restoration disc u can reinstall living house windows vista.
