Leaders come and Leaders go. I have it on good authority "That Dude" is only spending 4 to 6 hours a day (averaged over a week) on the Yahoo! Answers site.
A year ago, during the height of his addiction, he was spending 18 to 20 hours every day. An average over the last 13 months would be about 8 to 10 hours per day, every day.
I am semi-retired, self employed, and only require 3 to 4 hours of sleep each day. I have plenty of time to Answer and still have a life and time to attempt writing a book (visitors to my 360 blog twisted my cyber-arms until I said I would do this).

4 to 6 hours is still quite a bit, that's the majority of most working peoples work day but I suppose that demonstrates the benefit of being self-employed. I imagine having answered so many questions has been very empowering in the amount of knowledge one acquires to find those answers and interpret certain subjects to the best of their comprehension. Well, good job and congrats. I do wonder however how does one choose the questions they answer, is there a subject you're best at or do you challenge yourself across all fields...? Well it is an interesting feat all the same.

Richard may not answer this question, as he really doesn;t spend that much time here. I understand he is writing a book

Not to mention there are questioners wanting to be his girlfriend. He is to the point on the responses. I believe he spends less time these days on this site than his followers. Ergo still on top.

I wonder myself how anyone can get that many points per week and get anything else done in life.
