about the star system?

I want someone to explain me about this new star system! I haven't been here lately, so it is a surprise for me.

I tried to check, but the link didn't work, I'm lost here.

    Clicking on the star just tells them that their question is interesting. Itll put your pic and name in the star box. Itll say Show who starred.

    maybe that will work for you. It adds and deducts no stars -- it just is a way to show that you think a question is note-worthy and it may bump it to the POPULAR tab on the home page.
