If an iPod goes thru the wash machine is it possible it might work again when it dries out?
My son left his iPod in his pants pocket and it went thru the wash. It won't turn on right now...wondering if anyone knows if it might when it dries. Thx.

this is the exactly the same thing that happened to me a while back with my 30 gig photo. heres what i did.
i took the ipod, and put it under a desk lamp for a few days. DO NOT use a blow dryer to do it.
after a few days, make sure that the screen seems dry and not moist in the inside before trying to turn it on. with a little bit of luck, it should work. give that a shot.

Its possible. I dropped my cell in a tub of water - it sat there for at least an hour before I realized, and it still works abt. 6 months later. It was pretty bad until it dried out, 2 days later. The battery is shot, but the phone works the same.
