I think we, at some point, must control population with education and the availability of birth control in conjunction.
An out of control population needs more services such as housing, jobs, gas, electric, telephone, transportation, education, health care and a little breathing space. Also, eventually the problem of where and how to provide burials for those who do not want to be cremated would have to be resolved.

Differential fertility and differential survival are the tools for progressive evolution. We cannot advocate differential survival for evolutionary progress. But we can advocate differential fertility. For this we have to modify the present population control thrust covering all the population in a uniform manner. Let there be more children for the healthy and gifted. Discourage the reproduction of habitual criminals and mentally challenged persons. Such a population control policy will be good for all nations.

I think it's an excellent idea... then again I have many radical views that a-lot of people find to be "screwed up"... Hitler is one of my personal heroes, I think he was a genius... In a technical sense, much of what he did could be considered population control...
