Practice, find a route about the same distance and run it often. See if you can beat your personal best

Ok practice every day and try to run how long you can if you can 5 kilometres run 5. Then try to run for time. Take a rest 1-2 days before you have to run and eat 2 chocolates 15 minutes before running :)

It depends on how long you have to train for the test.
Running Times' web site posts some training programs for high school runners that you can look at: http://www.runningtimes.com/rt/articles/?id=6036&c...
That should get you about to where you need to be, but it is a 12-week program.
Don't let it stress you out though. Running isn't for everyone. Have fun and try your best. Good luck!

Are you from Singapore? NAFA's kind of sad..
Anyway, to solve the problem, just run consistently during your PE classes. Also, when running, don't start running too fast at the start. Save some energy for later.

just try running for 10-15 min a dfew days to get in better shape. If you can build up your endurance to a point where you can do 2.4 k without walking you should be good. Also make sure to hydrate and stretch
